Bang, Bang You're Dead

This powerful and important play was written in 1999 to raise awareness of bullying, school violence, and its causes. It is strongly based on the events surrounding the school shootings on May 20, 1998, at Thurston High School in Springfield, Oregon. The playwright, William Mastrosimone, stresses the importance of young people seeing the play performed by their peers. and hopes to reach out to potential shooters in the thousands of audiences that the play continues to gather. Cost is free, but donations are accepted. All proceeds will go to families of victims of school shootings.
